Thermo-driven nanofluidic electrokinetic converter
A charged track-etched membrane between hot and cold reservoirs; thermo-osmotic flow through the nanochannels carries the double-layer counter-ions, giving a streaming current that rises with the temperature difference (Zhao et al. 2020, 14 nA at ΔT = 47.5 °C over 0.5 cm²; electrical power computed, not delivered to a load).
