Villari effect
Stress changes the magnetisation of a magnetostrictive material. Combined with a pickup coil, vibration becomes a changing flux and hence a voltage.

Relations
- a magnetostrictive material under a bias field and cyclic stress
- Villari and Joule magnetostriction are converse effects with equal coefficients
Matrix context
D = disequilibrium row · C = coupling family column. A cell reads the state of the atlas for that pair.
