Anomalous Nernst effect
In a magnetised conductor a temperature gradient produces a transverse voltage proportional to the magnetisation rather than to an applied field. Allows thermopiles laid out as simple films.

Relations
- a magnetised ferromagnet or topological semimetal; no external field needed once magnetised
Matrix context
D = disequilibrium row · C = coupling family column. A cell reads the state of the atlas for that pair.
