Abstract read (Crossref). A one-dimensional thermoacoustic-piezoelectric resonator: a steep temperature gradient along an optimally placed porous stack drives self-sustained acoustic waves whose pressure fluctuations excite a piezoelectric diaphragm at the far end, converting acoustic to electrical energy with no moving parts; predicted with DeltaEC and validated on a small prototype (infrared temperature field, PIV flow field, microphone array, conversion efficiency). No output figures in the abstract.
