Abstract read (OpenAlex). A graphene-oxide aerogel evaporator with a longitudinal gradient of oxygen-containing groups: the persistent surface-tension disparity sustains Marangoni microcirculation that co-drives water transport with capillary flow ('a dual-driving transport regime'); 540 kg m⁻³ h⁻¹ (2.7 kg m⁻² h⁻¹) in 20 wt% NaCl under 1 sun for 12 h, with a short-circuit current of 25 μA and an open-circuit voltage of 0.7 V, series devices powering an LED. The electrical contribution of the Marangoni branch is not isolated from the capillary one.
