Open access (full text read). A two-stage stepped epoxy cantilever with an unpolarised α-PVDF flexoelectric layer (60 × 10 mm, 45 μm) — the authors count it, with Thai et al., among the only pure flexoelectric harvesters tested; on a vibration exciter at 20 Hz and 0.915 g the measured average output was ≈ 0.19 V (theory 0.167 V). The 3.58 V / 94.93 mW m⁻³ at the 1.2 Hz resonance are theory and FEA, not measured: the shaker could not reach 1.2 Hz.
