Proposal with finite-element analysis (abstract read): a cantilever cooling device with off-axis bulk ferroelectric patches (0.5BZT–0.5BCT) in which ambient vibration stresses the patches elastocalorically; 0.02 K per element at 324 K, 0.2 K in 50 s for ten elements at 1.5 Hz, ≈ 2 K predicted from 358 K. No device was built.
